New Home For the Holidays 2024
Since 2018, The Wood & Rise Real Estate Group has poured its heart into the annual New Home for the Holidays event, a tradition rooted in our deep desire to give back to the community we love. Homes are more than just four walls—they’re where we feel safe, loved, and supported. Being able to create that feeling for someone who needs it most is a privilege that leaves a lasting impact.
This year, we’re entering our 6th annual event, and it’s especially meaningful as we come together to support Rio and her two beautiful children, Ryker (8) and Ahria (5), Eastmark residents who recently suffered the unimaginable loss of their husband and father, Anthony. After a courageous battle with pneumonia, Anthony’s fight ended, and heaven gained a superhero. As the holidays approach, we know no family should have to endure such heartache. That’s why we’re rallying around Rio and her children, renovating their home to bring love, comfort, and healing into their lives.
This is more than just a renovation for us—it’s about lifting up a family in their darkest hour and reminding them they’re not alone. We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the support this project receives each year. It’s your kindness that makes the impossible possible. Together, we can bring hope, joy, and new beginnings to Rio and her family this holiday season.

The home renovation will take place from Friday, 11/8, to Sunday, 11/10, with the big reveal on the evening of Sunday, November 10th.
