Fireworks and Fun Summer Events 2025

Looking to take the family for a day of fun to celebrate Independence day or for an enjoyable summer outing? Look no further than these Valley events coming up in summertime:

Mesa:

Arizona Celebration of Freedom 

  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Location: Downtown Mesa – 263 N. Center Street near the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre
  • Activities: a jam-packed lineup of thrilling events, live entertainment, and activities. This year will feature three different BMX stunt performances plus the Phoenix Championship Wrestling matches. Don’t forget about the Great All American Car Show showcasing over 50 American-made vehicles, historical reenactments, carnival-style games, cool zones, inflatable waterslides, and a food court and beer tents. A fireworks show will draw the evening to a close – fireworks begin at 9:30pm.
  • Cost: Free!
  • Other fun facts: this family-friendly event invites you to bring your own lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the live musical performances and fireworks display.

Chandler:

Chandler’s All American Bash

  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025 from 7:00pm to 9:30pm
  • Location: Dr. AJ Chandler Park – 178 E. Commonwealth Avenue Chandler, AZ
  • Activities: featuring live music, yard games, food vendors and more! This year there will be a 15-minute pyrotechnic show as a part of the evening concert. The show starts at 8:15pm at the Dr. AJ Chandler Park State Plaza.
  • Cost: Free!
  • Other fun facts: the first 400 guests who visit the Event Information Booth can claim a coupon for a free treat at one of the participating food vendors (including bottled lemonade, shaved ice cups, ice cream sandwiches, Drumsticks or ice pops). The Information Booth also will be handing out raffle tickets for several amazing prize baskets, to be drawn at 8:10pm before the fireworks concert. Feel free to bring coolers, food, non-alcoholic beverages, umbrellas, blankets and lawn chairs.

Gilbert:

Gilbert 4th of July Celebration

  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025 from 5:00pm to 9:30pm
  • Location: Gilbert Regional Park – 3005 E. Queen Creek Road Gilbert, AZ 85298
  • Activities: live performances, drone show and a fireworks show – fireworks are scheduled to start around 8:50pm with a cover rock band performing starting at 7:00pm. A variety of food, drink, and dessert trucks will be on-site for purchase.
  • Cost: Free for General Admission
    • Optional upgrade to VIP Experience for $42.25/person – includes premier seating near the stage, a complimentary meal ticket for each paid guest, shaded areas, alcohol for sale in VIP section only, VIP bathrooms and bounce houses
  • Other fun facts: The entire Gilbert Regional Park will close at 10:00pm on July 3 through July 4th at 5:00pm to set up for the event. On-site parking is available for $15 a car and opens right at 5:00pm – no cash accepted on site. Permitted items are lawn chairs and blankets, bug spray, sunscreen, water, non-alcoholic beverages, and food.

Queen Creek:

Queen Creek’s Hometown 4th at Schnepf Farms 

  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025 – gates open at 4:00pm until 10:00pm
  • Location: Schnepf Farms – 24810 S Rittenhouse Road Queen Creek, AZ
  • Activities: food trucks, live music, vendors, water inflatables, beer and wine garden and an unforgettable fireworks show.
  • Cost: $45.00 per car (everyone in vehicle is covered by your Car Pass) – select a time online to enter from 3:30pm to 8:00pm
    • All American VIP Pass (per person) – $140.00 – includes access to the air-conditioned Big Red Barn with catered dinner from Caldwell County BBQ, fun activities, private seating, a private bar, exclusive restrooms, and easy aces to event grounds (includes parking and does not need Car Pass time).
  • Other fun facts: feel free to bring lawn chairs, games, blankets, umbrellas or pop-up tents as well as small coolers (16qt) with light snacks and water – alcohol and outside meals are prohibited.

Scottsdale:

Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at Westworld

  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Location: Westworld Scottsdale – 16601 N. Pima Road Scottsdale, AZ
  • Activities: the 12th annual celebration will feature a rodeo with bull-riding and mutton busting for kids, a Museum of the West exhibit, a slider burger eating contest, musical chairs, cake walks, BBQ meals, and a water balloon toss championship. To end the evening, the largest fireworks display in Scottsdale history will kick off at 9pm, with the event concluding after that.
  • Cost: prices start at $50 per adult and $30 per child for all you can eat BBQ and indoor access down to $25 per person for indoor access only and $20 per car for fireworks only tickets. More information about what is included in each tier can be found online.
  • Other fun facts: this is a cashless event (parking, tickets, and food will all be available via card payments). Parking is available online for $20 per car.

Tempe:

City of Tempe 4th of July Celebration –   |

  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Location: Tempe Diablo Stadium – 2200 W. Alameda Drive Tempe, AZ
  • Activities: games, activities, live music, traditional baseball food, sweet treats and fun for the whole family. Kids activities include water slides, bounce houses, train rides, and face painting. The evening will end with an unforgettable drone show and fireworks display.
  • Cost: $10.00 in advance, $15 day of event – children 12 and under are free with a paid parent/guardian ticket
  • Other fun facts: The drone show is scheduled to start at 9:15pm, with the fireworks show right after. Parking is available in the surrounding parking lots. Outside food and drink are not permitted. Bags are also not permitted but lawn seating will be available on the field and blankets and towels are permitted.

Flagstaff:

Flagstaff 4th of July Parade and Drone Show

  • When: Friday, July 4, 2025 from 9:00am to 11:00am
  • Location: Historic Downtown Flagstaff
  • Activities: watch floats travel down the downtown Flagstaff streets.
  • Cost: Free!
  • Other fun facts: The parade kicks off Flagstaff’s day of 4th of July fun, with Art in the Park running from July 4 to 6 in Wheeler Park – where you can see the talents of local artist vendors and live music. A patriotic pops concert will be open to the public for free from 3pm to 5pm at the Pepsi Amphitheater. There will also be an Independence Day drone show, starting around 9:10pm in East Flagstaff.
