The weather is perfect for outdoor events right now and the communities in and around Eastmark have a great slate of outdoor markets and family fun to enjoy in the coming months!
Eastmark:
Spring Boutique
- When: March 29 from 10am to 2pm
- Location: Eastmark
- Activities: come browse some unique finds at this community makers and farmers market!
Mesa:
- When: Open Saturdays and Sundays now until March 30, 2025 from 10:00am to 6:00pm
- Location: 12601 E. US Highway 60, Gold Canyon, AZ 85118
- Activities: the Renaissance Festival is part medieval amusement park, with games like archery, escape rooms, darts, camel and pony rides, and more, plus part arts and crafts fair. It also features a 16-stage theater, 50-acre circus and a jousting tournament. Anything that was found in a 16th century European village could be found here.
- Cost: Adult General Admission: $35, Children General Admission (ages 5-12): $25
- Other fun facts: FREE parking, open rain or shine. Specialty themed weekends include Wizards, Celtic, and Vikings. There’s also a special Pub Crawl option for $85 per person that runs twice a day each weekend at either 11am to 2pm. Or experience the Pleasure Feast, a limited attendance event held in the Feast Hall. There’s also 2 times for the Feast, 12pm and 2:30pm and tickets are sold separately for $110, both include admission into the main festival as well.

- Location: Sloan Park – 2330 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201
- Activities: 2 days of music, activities and more! The line up includes The Chainsmokers, Gryffin, Sofi Tukker, Two Friends and others.
- Cost: prices range from $64 for a 1 day general admission festival ticket to $139 for the 2 day general admission option. VIP options are also available starting at $119 for one-day passes and $239 for 2 day packages.

Chandler:
Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival
- When: March 14-16 and March 21-23 | 2pm to midnight on Fridays, 10am to midnight Saturdays, 10am to 11pm on Sundays
- Location: Tumbleweed Park – 2250 S. McQueen Road Chandler, AZ 85286
- Activities: A celebration of Chandler history that features live music and entertainment, carnival games, attractions, food and vendors. Activities include BMX demonstrations, lumberjack show, a family circus, an ostrich viewing pen, bubble show, pig races, and a bounce zone. The musical performers for weekend 1 are Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, The Fray, and Breland. For weekend 2 it is Los Rieleros, Natasha Bedingfield, and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line.

- General admission entry includes entry to the festival and concerts – $30 for Adult admission, $20 for Child admission.
- VIP admission includes admission to festival, VIP tent access, VIP concert viewing, 1 meal and 3 drinks – starting at $135.
- Multi-day passes for the full weekend are $85 for adults and $50 for child passes; $400 for 3-day VIP admission.
- Unlimited ride wristbands are on sale online for $32 for all carnival rides. Individual ride tickets are $1 per ticket, and rides cost between 3-10 tickets
- Other fun facts: Clear bag policy is in effect to attend. Limited parking is available for purchase for $15, or $11 if purchased online. A free shuttle is also available.
- When: March 20, 2025 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm
- Location: Veterans Oasis Park and Nature Center – 4050 E. Chandler Heights Rd.
- Activities: Family friendly entertainment at the lakeside amphitheater. The performer for March 20 is Traveler, which plays upbeat Celtic and World Folk Music
- Cost: FREE!
- Other fun facts: in case of inclement weather, the event will be at the park’s Environmental Education Center. Blankets, lawn chairs, food and small coolers are welcome, seating is first come first served, no alcohol permitted.

- Location: Downtown Chandler – Dr. AJ Chandler Park West – 3 S. Arizona Avenue
- Activities: Presented by Corvette Club of Arizona browse the variety of cars surrounded by the Downtown Chandler area
- Cost: FREE
- When: April 3, 2025 to April 6, 2025 gates open at 4pm each day
- Location: Dr. AJ Chandler Park – 3 S. Arizona Ave Chandler, AZ
- Activities: one of Arizona’s premiere jazz festivals, the weekend of jazz features a variety of local talent that ranges from smooth jazz to traditional and fusion rhythm jazz
- Cost: FREE
- Other fun facts: parking is available in the Downtown Chandler garages and lots. Blankets and lawn chairs are permitted at the main stage area
- When: April 5, 2025 check in starts at 7:30am, ride starts at 8:30am
- Location: Chandler Park and Ride – 2100 Hamilton Street Chandler, AZ
- Activities: Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke hosts the community on a scenic 7.8 mile bike ride along the Paseo Trail in celebration of Valley Bike Month in April. The Chandler Police Bike Team will lead the guided ride north along the Paseo Canal to Tibshraeny Park, then return to the starting point.
- Cost: FREE – sign up online for the participant t-shirt
- Other fun facts: The event includes a free t-shirt for participants and light refreshments, Kona Ice, and information on bicycle safety, transit services, and more. A virtual option is also available if you are unable to make the day of event.
Queen Creek
- When: March 12 to 16, 2025
- Location: 20464 E. Riggs Road Queen Creek, AZ
- Activities: the week includes many activities like Rodeo Slack competitions, pony rides, a free petting zoo, carnival, tractor show, as well as bareback riding, bronc riding, roping, and barrel racing. Friday and Saturday evenings feature a free dance with live music and Sunday morning a pancake breakfast and church service.

- Other fun facts: Parking is $10 per car, $20 for preferred parking. Check the schedule of events online for more details.
- When: March 22, 2025 from 9am to 1pm
- Location: Frontier Family Park
- Activities: one of Queen Creek’s signature events, this family friend festival includes live entertainment and the popular egg hunt. Other activities include mini golf, z-tag, a teen area and tot area, dance performances, and chick, tortoise, and bunny races.
- Cost: Wristbands are available for pre-purchase until March 10 online and in person at the Library Recreation Annex in Queen Creek – pre-sale $12.50 and day of event $15.00
- Other fun facts: each wristband ticket includes a free Color Blast voucher where participants will shoot paint blasters on canvas to create a one of a kind work of splatter art. Parking includes a free shuttle service as well.
Gilbert
- When: Thursday evenings in March from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
- Location: Water Tower Plaza – 45 W Page Avenue Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: the family friendly entertainment includes a variety of music genres. March 6 features The Grant Brothers, a modern country music duo. March 13 features The Main Squeeze, a variety cover band. March 20 will have Vibe Tribe performing and March 27 features What’s Left, another high-energy cover band.

- Other fun facts: blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged.
KAPOW! Superhero Adventure Run
- When: March 22, 2025 first wave starts at 8am
- Location: Freestone Park
- Activities: Family friendly fun run with over 20 playful obstacles – waves start every 15 minutes from 8am to 10am. After the race, visit Gotham City with more free activities, superhero guest appearances, music, and more. Packet pick-up is March 19 and 20.
- Cost: $25 per participant until March 16, increases to $35 until March 20
- Other fun facts: Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero costumes or attire. Each participant will get a celebratory finishers medal. Registration available online until March 20 for participants 3 and older.
- When: March 22, 2025 from 12:00pm to 10:00pm
- Location: Gilbert Regional Park – 3005 E. Queen Creek Road Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: Whiskey tasting, BBQ vendors, line dancing, mechanical bull riding, art installations, and cornhole tournament. Performers include Old Dominion, Chris Young, Jo Dee Messina, Gavin Degraw, Dylan Schneider, and Presley Tennant.
- Cost: General Admission tickets include entrance into the Smoke Show and access to the festival’s music and activities for $79.00. VIP tickets are available for $179
- Other fun facts: paid parking on site is available for $30-$55. No re-entry is allowed on the day of the event. Purses and small backpacks are permitted as are lawn chairs.
Gilbert’s Annual S.A.F.E. Public Safety Day
- When: March 29, 2025 from 9am to 1pm
- Location: Gilbert Public Safety Training Facility – 6860 S. Power Road
- Activities: This event is for members of the special needs and autism communities to have an opportunity to interact with firefighters and police offices in a safe setting. Activities include a ride along in a fire truck, a police traffic stop, and a chance to see police and fire gear up close.

Gilbert Global Village Festival
- When: April 5, 2025 from 9am to 2pm
- Location: Gilbert Civic Center Lawn – 50 E. Civic Center Drive
- Activities: A multicultural celebration for all ages that celebrates the cultural diversity of the community. Featured events include live entertainment through song and dance, Explore-A-Nation booths, as well as booths showcasing world religions, markets, and food
- Cost: FREE
- When: April 5, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
- Location: Mesquite Aquatic Center – 100 W. Mesquite Street
- Activities: an event just for high schoolers will feature music, food, games, and glowing fun
- Cost: FREE
- Other fun facts: participants are encouraged to wear white or neon gear
- When: April 12 to April 13, 2025 from 10am to 9pm
- Location: Gilbert Regional Park
- Activities: honoring America’s top favorite vegetables this event will feature baked potato vendors, live performances, a photo op with the Big Idaho Potato, games, and more

Gilbert Cinemas Movies in the Park
- When: May 2, 9, 16, and 23 starting at 6:30pm
- Location: Civic Center Lawn – 50 E. Civic Center Drive Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: movie selections are TBD, showtime starts at 6:30pm every week
- Cost: FREE
- Other fun facts: space is available on a first-come, first-serviced basis. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. Outside food and drinks are allowed and dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times.
